Editing programmes

I used various programmes to edit my music video and DigiPak. For my video I mainly used Adobe Premier Pro. This was really effective and gave a good, finished final product. It was very easy to use and the effects features really enhanced my video.

For the DigiPak I mainly used Photoshop. This was a good programme to use, as it offers a wide range of effects and is very professional. I enjoyed working with this software and found it really gave my DigiPak a successful finish.

I have included some printscreens to give an example of some of the programmes.

Artist permission

I wrote to Ellie Goulding to request the permission to use 'Starry Eyed' for my music video. Here is the email that i sent through Ellie's website: (www.elliegoulding.co.uk)

Dear Ellie Goulding,
I am an A level media studies student and for my practical film making project it is necessary for me to film and edit a music promotional video.

I really enjoy your music and I am writing to you to ask for your permission to use 'Starry Eyed' as the music track in my video.

My work would be for educational and exam purposes only and would in no way be used for commercial gain or profit.

Yours sincerely,

Romilly Roberts
